Meet the Team at Advanced Eye Care in Myrtle Beach

We’re a small, experienced team committed to doing eye care differently. That means more listening, less waiting, and clear, compassionate service from the moment you walk in.

Personalized Care Starts with People Who Care

You’ll always know who you’re seeing and what to expect. We don’t pass patients between departments or pressure you into services you don’t need. Instead, we focus on real conversations, practical care, and making sure you leave feeling confident in your plan, whether you're here for a routine checkup, a dry eye consultation, or a same-day concern.

Joy Reeves

Licensed Esthetician & Team Support

Joy Reeves brings warmth, clarity, and calm to every part of the patient experience at Advanced Eye Care. As both a licensed esthetician and the co-leader of the practice, Joy plays a hands-on role in patient care, clinic operations, and in-office support, whether she’s answering questions, guiding families through their visit, or helping patients find skincare and dry eye solutions that fit their lifestyle.

Guiding Patients Through Skincare & Dry Eye Relief

Joy specializes in helping patients navigate our medical-grade skincare and dry eye relief products, including take-home kits and physician-approved nutraceuticals.

She takes time to listen, make recommendations based on sensitivity or skin type, and ensure that every product we carry is safe for eyes and thoughtfully selected.

The Calm, Friendly Energy Patients Remember

Beyond clinical support, Joy is also the heart of the patient experience. She has a natural ability to put people at ease, especially kids, nervous first-timers, and families with lots of questions.

Her role blends clinical understanding with the kind of personal connection that turns a first visit into an ongoing relationship.

The Calm, Friendly Energy Patients Remember

Joy is also deeply connected to the mission behind the practice. After spending years serving with her husband, Dr. Kerry Reeves, in medical mission work in Haiti, she brings that same grounded, service-first perspective to every patient interaction.

Whether you’re here for a dry eye evaluation, an aesthetic consultation, or just a quick visit with the kids, Joy helps ensure your care feels personal, not rushed and your visit leaves you feeling better, inside and out.

Not Sure Who to Ask? Just Start at the Front Desk

You’ll be greeted by someone who will make sure you get what you need. Whether it’s an eye exam, a refill, or just a quick question, we’re happy to help.
