What is Co-Managed LASIK Care?

LASIK co-management means we partner with a qualified LASIK surgeon to provide all your care before and after the procedure. Dr. Reeves will assess your vision and eye health to determine if LASIK is the right option for you, then refer you to a surgeon we trust. After your procedure, we handle all local follow-up appointments in our clinic, so you don’t have to travel back and forth for check-ins.

It’s a simpler, more personal way to approach LASIK with one provider guiding your care from start to finish.

Who’s a Suitable Candidate for LASIK?

LASIK may be a good option for patients who:

  • Are over 18

  • Have had a stable prescription for at least a year

  • Are in good general and eye health

  • Are not pregnant or nursing

We’ll evaluate your eyes carefully and talk through your lifestyle, vision goals, and long-term needs. If LASIK isn’t the right fit, we’ll help you explore other options like contact lenses or corrective eyeglasses.

What to Expect with Co-Management Care

We make the process simple by staying with you throughout from your first consult to your final check-in.

Before Surgery

We evaluate your corneal shape, prescription stability, and overall eye health to determine if LASIK is right for you. If you’re a candidate, we’ll explain what to expect and refer you to a surgeon we trust.

After Surgery

You’ll return to our office for scheduled follow-up eye exams. We’ll monitor your healing, manage any symptoms, and adjust your care plan as needed to support stable, long-term results.

Dry Eye & LASIK: What You Should Know

Some patients experience dry eye symptoms after LASIK especially those who had dryness before surgery. Dr. Reeves offers full dry eye evaluations and in-office treatment to help prepare your eyes before LASIK and manage symptoms afterward. If you’ve struggled with lens discomfort or irritated eyes, we may recommend dry eye care first to give you the best outcome possible.

Helping You Make the Right Choice for Your Vision

If you’re not sure whether LASIK is the right step, we’re here to help you weigh your options without pressure. Some patients choose to wait, others explore contact lenses, and many appreciate having a local provider they can rely on either way.

Our goal is to support your decision whether that means moving forward with surgery or finding a different solution that fits your vision and lifestyle.
