Your Contact Lens Exam Starts with the Right Fit

A contact lens exam is more than a basic vision test. We take time to understand how your eyes function with lenses and what will keep you seeing clearly, comfortably, and safely every day.

Whether you’re new to contacts, replacing a lost pair on vacation, or exploring better options for dry or sensitive eyes, we’ll guide you through the process with care.

What We Test During Your Contact Lens Exam

Your contact lens exam includes everything you’d expect in a comprehensive eye exam, plus a few extra steps to make sure your lenses feel and fit right.

We measure the curve of your cornea, assess your pupil size, and examine your tear film to make sure your eyes are producing enough natural moisture to support contact lens wear.

If you’ve had trouble with comfort or vision in the past, we’ll troubleshoot and offer clear solutions.

Types of Contact Lenses We Fit

We fit a range of soft and hard lenses, customized for your eyes and vision goals.Patients with astigmatism may benefit from toric lenses that stay stable throughout the day. If you need help seeing both near and far, multifocal lenses might be a better choice than switching between readers. For sharper vision in more complex prescriptions, RGP lenses (Rigid Gas Permeable) may provide better results.

If you’ve had difficulty with lenses in the past or been told you have “hard-to-fit eyes,” we’ll take extra care in matching you with a lens that supports comfort and clarity.

We Make It Easy,For First-Time Wearers

If you’ve never worn contacts before, don’t worry, we’ve helped thousands of patients make the switch. We’ll walk you through every step, from lens insertion and removal to proper cleaning and care (when applicable).

You’ll also have time to ask questions, try on lenses, and learn what to expect as your eyes adjust. Our team is patient, friendly, and always here to help.

Dry Eye & Contact Lens Comfort

Dryness is one of the most common reasons patients stop wearing contact lenses. Dr. Reeves has a special interest in dry eye management and offers in-office treatments and take-home relief options that can help restore comfort and extend wear time.

If you’ve struggled with irritation or blurry vision, we’ll evaluate your tear film, lens type, and wear schedule, then recommend changes that work for your eyes.

The glasses rack has a blurry view, with the background being out of focus.
